Lord Calvert & Miss Tranquility

Welcome back to another crazy fun-filled year!  Just wanted to put this out again this year about the Calvert County Fair’s scholarship contest.  A great opportunity for winning the $1,250 if placing 1st in the Miss Tranquility / Lord Calvert Contest.  Second place winners receive $500 and third place also receives a check.  There is not much time between when the students start and when our applications are due (September 8th).

Students will need a $50 sponsorship (possibly church, school, organization, business).  All students will need to participate/help out at the fair a minimum of 10 hours (6 of those hours on youth day) to let guests see our court.  The Miss Tranquility and Lord Calvert winners will need to be there a minimum of 20 hours.  All of the hours go by very fast and the kids all seem to work very well with each other and form a nice bond.
