The time has come for the Prince George ’s County Maryland Chapter (PGCMDC) of the Norfolk State University Alumni Association (NSUAA) to select a $1000 merit scholarship recipient. Each year, the chapter provides assistance to a graduating high school student who will enroll at Norfolk State University (NSU). The scholarship recipient will receive $500 for two semesters as long as the student maintains the academic requirement.
To qualify, you must be a Maryland resident; a graduating senior with at least a 2.5 grade point average (GPA); and MUST be officially accepted to NSU for the upcoming academic semester. Along with the completed application, we are requesting an official transcript from your high school, and a Norfolk State University acceptance letter.
For award consideration, the attached application must be completed and mailed along with all supporting documents to the address below. All materials must be postmarked by Friday, April 6, 2018. Late applications will not be accepted.
