The Optimist Club of Calvert offers an annual one time vocation award of $3,000 for students residing in Calvert County. This award must be used for advanced training at any trade or technical school or community college that is approved by the Optimist Club. Only two year colleges are permitted.Requirements:
-Must reside in Calvert County and be in the current graduating class of Calvert County high school.
-Children, step-children and grand children of members of Optimist club are not eligible.
-The vocational award can only be used at two year programs
